Life Groups at CRFC

Welcome to Life Groups at CRFC. Never have we been as excited as we are now about small groups. To say we are expecting big things is to put it mildly. As you open your heart to let God use Life Groups, we know that God is going to do some unbelievable things.

Please, take a minute and look through the list of Life Groups listed below. We have something for everyone. Find one that fits your schedule and needs as a family, then send the leader an email. They would love to answer your questions and help you get connected.

  • AlphA? Got questions about life

    Sunday Evenings: 5:30 pm

The House (on the CRFC property)

5335 Midway Dr NW, CR 52405

Alpha is a chance to explore the meaning of life. It's a series of fifteen interactive sessions, including a weekend retreat where anyone can explore the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. Each session includes a meal, worship and a main talk, followed by a small group discussion where you can share your thoughts and questions in a relaxed setting.

Alpha is for anyone...anyone who thinks there may be more to life than meets the eye. People attend from all backgrounds, religions, and viewpoints. They come to investigate questions about the existence of God, the purpose of life, the afterlife, the claims of Jesus and more. Some people want to get beyond religion and find a relationship with God that really changes their life. Others come for the close long-lasting friendships that are built during the Alpha Course.

What is the deep cry of your heart? The ache in your soul that keeps you up at night? The prayer you keep repeating? Jesus not only cares about this deep, spiritual wrestling, but He also wants to step in and see you through it. Through this interactive, in-depth study we will be trading feelings of emptiness and depletion for the fullness of knowing who Jesus is like never before.

Storms are always affecting our lives- even when everything seems calm.

We are always driving into a storm, driving through a storm, or driving out of a storm.

These storms can last for minutes, hours, days, weeks, or even years.

Dr. James Coyle, a chaplain and mental health specialist, shares life lessons on recognizing these storms and navigating them so you can continue in your desired direction. Drawing on his personal experience, including a suicide attempt, divorce, and career challenges, he helps you

    - pinpoint the choices you've made that have led to specific outcomes

    - focus on the important things that anchor your existence

    - help yourself by helping others

    - approach each day with hope, faith, and love

Dr James Coyle earned a doctorate in Pastoral Counseling and Dr. Lisa Coyle earned her doctorate in Educational Counseling. They have both devoted their life to helping people get to a better place physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Jim is the author of "GPS: your Guide Through Personal Storms" and "Tools 4 Life: A Daily Inspirational Guide."  The Coyle's have 5 kids and 2 grandkids. The three left at home are all attending Jefferson High School. Hanna is a senior and the twins, Gabe and Jake, are sophomores. We love our home church at CRFC and are looking forward to hosting a life group.

Lyle & Sherry Oesterborg:: Sherry and I both grew up in church. but for me it was in 1976 that I remember saying to God, "If I could just understand the bible I would follow you, but it's boring." That week everything I was reading made sense. I later realized that God had opened my eyes. We are very grateful to be a part of what God is doing in these days and we love to share our experiences of His love with those we meet. Sharing the Gospel - To God be the Glory!
