Get Involved

We at Drop Inn Ministries invite you to join us in serving those around the world in great need. There are numerous ways in which you can get involved, and we sincerely hope you will consider these options.

PRAYER

Our greatest need is prayer. Without God's Presence, guidance and provision, our efforts would be futile. Please pray with us for the Lord's work among the nations that He continues to allow us to be part of.

CONTRIBUTE TO OUR STORES

We rely on donations from the community to stock our stores. We gladly accept gently used furniture, household items, clothing and toys at each of our stores. Please do not leave donations after hours. We can write you a tax-deductable receipt for your donations. Drop Inn does pick up gently used furniture items. Please call the store at 319-396-3164 to schedule a pick up today.

VOLUNTEER

Drop Inn would not be able to provide the support to all our ministries without volunteers. We are in need of volunteers to help in the store sorting, pricing, cleaning and greeting. Drop Inn is also in need of drivers to assist with pick ups and deliveries. If you are interested in helping out please stop into one of our store locations.

TAKE A TRIP

Join us on a short-term trip to visit one of our various project partners around the world.

Drop Inn's Story

Founded in 1994 by Ronnie and Carolyn Dawson of Richhill, Northern Ireland as an outreach to local young people in the community. In early 1995, Ronnie had opportunity to travel on a short term mission trip to Belarus in Eastern Europe. As a result of that trip, he encouraged the local community to support projects of bringing humanitarian aid to this troubled region. Together with Leslie Brown they began to transport regular supplies of Humanitarian Aid to Belarus. That year also saw the opening of the first Drop Inn Charity Shop in Richhill to fund and develop this ministry, and since then God has blessed the organization with tremendous growth and outreach.
